The presumed founder of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Retired  Justice Eze Ozobu has denounced the hate speeches and incitement to aggression as being portrayed by persons under the guise of Radio Biafra.
Speaking with the Rev Obinna Aklukwe, Director General of  Igbo Mandate Congress (IMC)  who sought his views as part of the group’s ongoing  consultations with Igbo leaders on how to put an end to hate speeches characterizing the new face of Radio Biafra, Justice Eze Ozobu said that he doesn’t even know the person called Nnamdi Kanu.

According to the respected Octogenarian, “I do not know anybody called Nnamdi Kanu. You said  that his name is what? how does he look like? I have never asked anybody to use violence or incitement to achieve any means.”
Justice Eze Ozobu also said that “for two years now I have not had audience with anybody over any matter political  including  IPOB, Radio Biafra or any other group,neither do I listen to Radio Biafra.”  He threatened to take legal actions against anybody who associates him with any hate speech, aggression and unruly activities in any ramifications.

The wife of Justice Eze Ozobu,, a retired permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Women Affairs also lashed out at those associating her husband with hate speeches as name droppers.

According to Osodieme Chief Mrs Eze Ozobu, ” IPOB, Radio Biafra or whosoever have not seen my husband for over two years, therefore nobody can claim that he sent them on any mission. They are dropping his name without consulting him”  Describing her husband as a man of principle and peace ,she  sued for peace among the Igbos and advised the aggrieved to do so within the ambit of truth, justice and rule of law.
IPOB had claimed that His Royal Majesty, Retired Justice Eze Ozobu (OFR) was their founder with the designation of   Chairman Governing Council  of Indigenous Peoples of Biafra with Dr Dozie Ikedife as the Secretary.
Justice Eze Ozobu was the Chief Judge of Enugu State for many years. It is on record that his tenure as President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo was the most transparent. He is a foremost respectable Igbo Jurist whose incorruptible stature is likened to that of his friend, late  Justice Chukwudifu Oputa.

Nnamdi Kanu with suspected Radio Biafra terrorists

Igbo Mandate Congress has condemned the hate speeches associated with Radio Biafra. This was part of the resolutions of the  emergency meeting held  in Enugu to evaluate the implication of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) successful protest march in Onitsha, Asaba, Owerri and Yenegoa on Friday. The group described the hate speeches as contrary to the spirit of Biafra.
Rev Akukwe explained that” abusing the Hausa, the Fulani, and the Yoruba in the course of pursuing Biafra is anti-Christian. Christianity cannot support the dissemination of hate messages against fellow living beings created by God, and nobody chose which tribe to come from. It is God that created all. Anybody or group that wants Biafra should pursue it within the ambit of reasonable processes and international conventions”
Clarifying further, Akukwe said that “since 1999 Igbos have occupied positions of Senate Presidency, Deputy Senate Presidency, Party Chairmanship, Secretary to the Government of Nigeria, and yet the all important Enugu-Onitsha Highway, Enugu-Nsukka  Highway from Opi to 9^th Mile and Enugu-Port-Harcourt Highway from the Okigwe end   are the worst roads in Nigeria due to their selfish representations at the center. While other regions are being developed, South East politicians embezzled their lot and they are now using a people’s aspiration to cover up for crime.
“These political bandits failed to ensure that these roads were repaired from the Obasanjo through to the Jonathan regime, preferring to pursue contracts and appointments. We should blame our corrupt Igbo leadership first for our woes and make them to account for years of selfish superintendent over our destinies before blaming outside accomplices.”

Akukwe averred further that “The Federal Government should  release Nnamdi Kanu, and all IPOB protesters with immediate effect. Ben Onwuka of Biafra Zionist Movement and his members languishing in Enugu Prisons and all MASSOB members in detention should be granted amnesty and sent home  because many of them are victims of corrupt governance at the center fueled by corrupt and  incompetent political representations from the South East.”
The Abia State Coordinator of IIgbo Mandate Congress and founding Secretary General of Ohanaeze Youths Council , Comrade Chuks Ibegbu in his submissions said that “we must be careful with these protests in order not to be used by selfish elements because there is not much difference between these agitations and the money making sentiments used by MASSOB leader Uwazurike over the years. Our people must be careful not to be dragged into another conflict driven by self interests.Security agencies should release the misguided elements that joined the protests due to bandwagon effects.”
Ohanaeze Ndigo had also cautioned on the activities of IPOB. The Assistant National Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and Co-ordinator of Igbo Ohanaeze Integrity Groups, Barrister Emejulu Okpalaukwu has said that those sponsoring the agitations are Igbo politicians afraid of EFCC prosecution. According to the Ohanaeze Spokesman ”  evil minded politicians afraid of prosecution are sponsoring aspects of IPOB protest march. These people should be cautioned before it is too late. Arrested protesters should be counseled and sent home and the use of force should be discouraged”

Late HRM Igwe (Hon. Justice) Ezebuilo Ozobu (retired)

Igbos from various walks of life are mourning the death of HRM Igwe (Hon. Justice) Ezebuilo Ozobu (retired).
Justice Ozobu was former Chief Judge of Enugu State, pioneer President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, and Chairman, Supreme Council of Elders of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Reacting to his death, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide in a press release issued on Friday, said:

“Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide sympathize with Ndigbo, South East Governors, especially Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, South East Traditional Rulers Ohanaeze Ndigbo and the immediate family of His Majesty Igwe Eze Ozobu especially Former Secretary General Ohanaeze Ndigbo and Ime Obi member,Prince Richard Ozobu over the demise of our respected Igbo leader, Pioneer President General Ohanaeze Ndigbo,Traditional Ruler and Former Chief Justice of Enugu State, HRM Igwe Justice Ezebuilo Ozobu,who died on Thursday 14th November 2019.

Northern elites have finally woken up on Sunday, December 22nd with a frantic attempt to settle the feud and stop the plot to depose Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as Emir of Kano. I have written an angry piece on last week titled ‘Planned Deposition of Emir Sanusi and the Silence of Northern Fools’ where I posited that it is foolishness of the highest order for northern elites to be silent as Governor Ganduje destroys the symbol of northern unity and cohesion.

Information reaching me suggests that the plot to put together a high powered committee to address the issues came partly from the harsh tone of that piece which I sent to key northern leaders. A high powered delegation led by General Abdulsalami, with Gowon actig behind e scene, have been assembled by the presidency to unite the two fighting elephants of Sanusi and Ganduje and save the Kano Emirate from public ridicule and mockery.

Stop Humiliating Air Peace Boss—Dr Ezeife warns EFCC as Igbo Mandate Congress Warns of Consequences

The former governor of Anambra State Dr Cukwuemeka Ezeife had warned the Magu led Economic and Financial Crimes Commision (EFCC) to stop humiliating the Chirman of Air Peace, Chief Allen Onyema.

Chief Ezeife stated this at Igboukwu on Monday when leaders of Igbo Mandate Congress IMC led by Rev Obinna Akukwe paid him a working visit to find solution to the political misfortunes of Ndigbo . Chief Ezeife wondered why the anti-graft body has special leisure in harassing successful Igbo businessmen.

According to Dr Ezeife ‘’EFCC harassed Ibeto and later he was found to be innocent. They faced Innoson and the courts later proved that the man was innocent. They also descended on Ifeanyi Ubah and the man was subsequently freed.

‘’Now they are humiliating Allen Onyema over a matter they have not investigated properly

‘’Why must EFCC seize his passport but to humiliate him. Allen Onyema is not the calibre of person that will run away’’

Planned Deposition of Emir Sanusi; Silence of Northern Fools

It is obvious to all that Governor Ganduje of Kano State is hell-bent on deposing Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the Emir of Kano, what is puzzling to me is the foolish silence of Northern elites.

Foolishness of the highest order is best words to describe the ungolden silence of northern Emirs, Ulamas, elites and leaders of thought as Governor Ganduje tries to destroy a critical traditional heritage of Northern Nigeria on a vindictive mission.

In December 2014, when some foolish Igbo leaders were celebrating a 2nd Niger Bridge that will be built by Public-Private Partnership and the Igbos tolled for 25 years while other bridges across Nigeria were built 100 per cent by the Jonathan Government, I wrote a widely publicized piece titled ‘Auctioning of 419 2nd Niger Bridge and the Jubilation of Igbo Fools’. This was preceded by another one titled ‘Fraudulent Construction of 2nd Niger Bridge, another 419 on Igbo Nation’ and I lambasted the foolishness of Igbo leaders who looked like charmed people while a bridge is constructed for Ndigbo, to be paid for by Ndigbo, with just 20 percent contribution by our kinsman Jonathan’s government. Luckily, Buhari Govt cancelled the PPP criminality and is building a bridge for Ndigbo with Nigerian money and has thus far committed over N60 billion naira to the project as against Jonathan’s N5 billion .

Islamization, Emirate in Ebonyi: Guber Aspirant alerts CAN, Ohanaeze as Igbo Mandate Congress Seeks for Caution

A former gubernatorial aspirant under the banner of National Rescue Movement NRM in the just concluded governorship polls in Ebonyi State  and a Chieftain of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Rev Paschal Gold Nwaigwe had alerted the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria PFN,  Christian Association of Nigeria CAN and Ohahaeze Ndigbo of a grand plan to install an emirate in Afikpo

In the letter to CAN, PFN and Ohanaeze made available to Igbo Mandate Congress yesterday, the politician alleged that there is a secret plot to have an Emirate in Afikpo.

 According to the statement,''From a reliable information some of our traditional rulers the Eze Ogo’s are being lobbied to accept the crowing of an Islamic Traditional Ruler, the arrangement is to institute an Emirate in Afikpo, An Ebonyi born  Moslem Imam has been slated for the Hausa Fulani traditional rulership, which in no distance will translate to an Emirate, first of its kind in the South East''.

Nnamdi Kanu, Uwazurike and Murder of Prophet Nwoko, Chukwuemeka Ugah, others: Igbo Mandate Congress Condemns Bloodletting.

Culture of Bloodletting has been introduced once more into Biafraland by agents loyal to Nnamdi Kanu, Uwazurike with regards to the murder of Prophet Nwoko, Chukwuemeka Ugah alias Okpele and other victims of internal assassinations.

We have made investigations with contacts within IPOB community and concluded that Prophet Nwoko was murdered by order from above. Six Enugu based IPOB operatives macheted him to death in orgies of murders within Biafra land which I estimate to be beyond two hundred so far. Many of the victims of such assassinations have nobody to help tell the story publicly.

Prophet Nwoko is a friend, colleague and fellow Igbo activist introduced to me by The General Coordinator of General Assembly of all Igbo Christian Organizations and Ministers (GAAICOM), Apostle Dr PCJ Macjossy in 2011 and we met severally till 2016 when we disagreed on the modus operandi of achieving Igbo Mandate or Biafra. I have alluded to that in my piece ‘Murder of Prophet Nwoko by Biafran Activists; a Curse on the Struggle’ though I do not agree with many of his prophesies, and have voiced it to him, yet I respected his sacrifice, passion and prayers for the Biafran struggle.

Biafran Activists acting ostensibly under the orders of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, have murdered on the 16^th of April, Prophet Anthony Nwoko, a friend and colleague in this struggle to free Ndigbo from internal and external contradictions.

Prophet Anthony Nwoko was a friend and colleague in the quest for Igbo emancipation. He was introduced to me in 2011 by Apostle Dr PCJ MacJossy when Igbo clerics were negotiating with the then Acting President Goodluck Jonathan’s kinsmen on what to do for Ndigbo in return for massive support during 2011 re-election.

Prophet Nwoko followed us in the General Assembly of all Igbo Christian Organizations and Ministers (GAAICOM) when the group wrestled out Ohanaeze Leadership from the hands of state governors and ensured that Ambassador Uwechue was given a second term as President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo (not known to then Ohanaeze constitution) to help Uwechue finish the negotiations with Jonathan started by GAAICOM. This was August 2011.

The Governorship Candidate of the National Rescue Movement, NRM Rev Gold Paschal Nwaigwe had alerted the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, and the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo of plot to Islamize Ebonyi state which he claimed the incumbent Governor Dave Umahi has promised Buhari if he wins a second term.

This was contained in a letter he sent to CAN, Ohanaeze, IPAC on Monday made available to Igbo Mandate Congress. He told the traditional rulers and clerics in the letter that the information is for their action.

“I am using this opportunity to alert all our Traditional Rulers and all well-meaning elders in Ebonyi State; so that they will not say we are not aware of Ebonyi State islamization project. Already in Afikpo lies the biggest Islamic training Centre in Africa, and, if you are well informed, that place is actually a Terrorist Training Centre and breeding ground for jihadist insurgency. Our women have married many of the Fulani's in Afikpo, making their children Moslems from birth and brain-washed with Islamic studies and fundamentalism”

Bloodbath in Ebonyi as PDP, APC, NRM battle for Governorship: Igbo Mandate Congress Urges Restraint

Bloodbath and death toll is already mounting in Ebonyi State, South East Nigeria  as the candidates of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, All Progressive Congress APC, Social Democratic Party SDP and National Rescue Movement NRM battle for who governs  Ebonyi State come May 29^th,2019. Igbo Mandate Congress had received reports from their coordinators in Ebonyi State that the death tolls in the past three months have reached twenty.

Two persons Igwe Ukwa and Egbe Oruke, were killed recently at Amagu, ward one, Ikwo Local govt area when the agents of the PDP and APC clashed. Twenty vehicles were destroyed and thirty houses in communities in Izzi local government when thugs of PDP and APC clashed. APC had alleged that soldiers and community vigilante groups are being used to harass and kill their supporters.
