VP Osinbajo’s aide Refutes Claim of RCCG Pastor Ozikpu’s Sack over Sowore Protests

A personal aide to VP Osinbajo, Nicholas Adesina, had refuted claims that Pastor Ozikpu was sacked from RCCG for participation in Sowore protests. Reacting to a piece on the subject of  Pastor Ozikpu’s  sack written by Columnist Obinna Akukwe, and made available to opinionnigeria, the personal aide who had severally defended VP Osinbajo on sensitive issues , said that Ozikpu’s sack was in line with policies of RCCG.

 

According to Adesina  “As for his (Ozikpu’s) claims that professor Osinbajo influenced his sacking, I’m surprised he didn’t even claim that professor Osinbajo influenced his arrest in the first place or designated two police officers to track him from his home and then arrest him as soon as he and others wanted to begin vandalizing public property or and endangering lives of Innocent citizens.

“In conclusion, I agree with the writer that the church needs strong-willed and upright politicians and activists in power and also in opposition but not thieves, looters, brigands, and all types of lawbreakers. Remember, we are enjoined to give unto Caesar what is Caesar’s”

Gates of Hell Swallows Lagos Churches as Govt Restricts Worship Centers

The Gates of Hell have swallowed churches in Lagos, Ogun, and Abuja as Governor Sanwo-Olu suspends planned lifting of restrictions on worship centers. Lagos, Ogun and FCT are the epicenters and headquarters of the Orthodox, Episcopal and Mega Pentecostal churches in Nigeria.

Our Lady’s Queen of Nigeria Pro- Cathedral, Abuja, Our Lord’s Garden (Dunamis Glory Dome) Abuja, Mountain of Fire Prayer City, Deeper Life Camp Ground, Ibafo, Redemption Camp, Mowe, Canaanland ,Ota, Deeper Life Global Headquarters, Gbagada, MFM Headquarters, Yaba, Hoy Cross Cathedral, Lagos Island are principal churches situated within Lagos, Ogun and FCT. These churches have been under lockdown since March.

FCT resumed Sunday services last week. Lagos is scheduled to start Sunday worship next week, but the government had shelved the earlier planned lifting of restrictions. Ogun State had locked down Saturdays and Sundays and there is no plan yet for restriction of worship centre.

The earlier guidelines included churches operating at thirty percent of their capacity, provided it does not exceed 500 persons. This is a big blow to churches like Winners Chapel, Mountain of Fire Ministries, Deeper Life Church, Christ Embassy, Redeemed Christian Church of God, among others whose membership reaches hundreds of thousands in a single day in one location. Children under the age of 15 and those above 55 years are barred from attendance.

RCCG Pastor Ozikpu’s Claim that Osinbajo influenced his Sack over Sowore Protests: Matters Arising

The claims by an administrative pastor with Redeemed Christian Church of God, Elias Ozikpu that he was sacked from the church after his participation in the ‘Revolution Now’ protests pioneered by Omoleye Sowore, under the Lagos Province 48, headed by Nigeria’s Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is very worrisome.

 

Elias Ozikpu also alleged that all his numerous letters for his six months’ salary arrears prior to his sack to be paid, copies of which he sent to VP Osinbajo and GO Adeboye, is yet to be attended to.

I advise the RCCG leadership that sacking a pastor for participating in a protest in Nigeria filled with evil government officials as a matter of policy, is not right. Protests are means of bringing the attention of evil rulers to their responsibility. The church should even lead in such. I advise relevant authorities to bring back the sacked pastor, pay his entitlements and not muscle activists within their fold because one day the church will need people like Elias Ozikpu.

Murder, Rape in RCCG Church: Adeboye’s Timely Prayer Warfare

The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A.Adeboye has declared prayer warfare over the death of Miss Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, raped and murdered to death in RCCG Ikpoba Hill Benin.

 

According to Pastor Adeboye, his prayer warriors will not rest until Uwa’s killers are found and the perpetrators of rape are accorded stiffer penalty.

Adeboye said during a live programme on DOVE TV, monitored in Ibadan on Sunday, that the issue of rape had become rampant in the society. He described rape as bad and unbiblical that it could leave a permanent scare on the victim for the rest of her life.

According to him, there is no pain that can be compared to the pain on the parents whose daughter had been raped.

“Myself and prayer warriors will not rest in prayers until the perpetrators of this evil are brought to justice, not only in Nigeria but all over the world. Everyone who has ever committed rape, particularly in Nigeria and the world, the all-knowing God will fish them.

Nigerian wickedness have graduated from a Jihad of the penis, the type waged in Chibok and Dapchi, to rape in the church, the type witnessed in Redeemed Christian Church God, RCCG Benin.

To refresh unsavory news, Miss Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, a 22 year old microbiology student of University of Benin, and chorister with RCCG, Ikpoba Hill, Province of Benin, was raped and murdered inside the same church she and her family had put in sixteen years of faithful service to God.

 

Christianity is endangered in Nigeria. It was endangered by both the rampaging Jihadists and the rapacious church members. There is both internal and external pull at the fabrics of the church and the leaders are yet to realize that hard times have come again.

The outrage over the murder of Uwa in RCCG had not died down when an anointed Bishop was apprehended by the police for raping a 19 year old girl in his church, Victory Revival Fasting & Prayer Ministry, Warri. The anointed Bishop by name Elijah Orhonigbe is now in police net (pending when he pays his way out).

Covid-19 Rape, Murder in RCCG Church: Disgrace to Christendom

Rape and murder occurred in RCCG church amidst coronavirus pandemic and a great disgrace has been brought to Christendom, yet church leaders have not read the handwriting on the wall. Since the history of Nigeria’s amalgamation in 1914, for the first time a virgin girl was tied, gagged, blindfolded, raped, filmed and murdered in a church in Nigeria.-and everything is wrong with it.

People have been killed in churches. In 2011, Jihadist Christmas bomber attacked St Theresa’s Catholic Church, Madalah, Niger State and killed over fifty worshipers. Churches have been bombed in Nigeria. In 2017, South African based drug barons carried their killing spree into St Philips Catholic Church,Ozubulu, Anambra State and in the process thirteen worshippers were shot dead , even though propagandists blamed herdsmen. .

These are different aspects of desecration of worship places in Nigeria during conflicts, but never had someone been raped and killed in a church during peacetime. This is the initial results of the abdication of the spiritual edge of the church in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
