RCCG Pastor Ozikpu’s Claim that Osinbajo influenced his Sack over Sowore Protests: Matters Arising

Written by Obinna Akukwe

The claims by an administrative pastor with Redeemed Christian Church of God, Elias Ozikpu that he was sacked from the church after his participation in the ‘Revolution Now’ protests pioneered by Omoleye Sowore, under the Lagos Province 48, headed by Nigeria’s Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is very worrisome.
Adeboye prayed for my protection night before Chopper crashed ...
Elias Ozikpu also alleged that all his numerous letters for his six months’ salary arrears prior to his sack to be paid, copies of which he sent to VP Osinbajo and GO Adeboye, is yet to be attended to.

I advise the RCCG leadership that sacking a pastor for participating in a protest in Nigeria filled with evil government officials as a matter of policy, is not right. Protests are means of bringing the attention of evil rulers to their responsibility. The church should even lead in such. I advise relevant authorities to bring back the sacked pastor, pay his entitlements and not muscle activists within their fold because one day the church will need people like Elias Ozikpu.

Elias Ozikpu is an activist and a professional playwright, novelist, essayist and polemicist.

According to Pastor Adeboye, his prayer warriors will not rest until Uwa’s killers are found and the perpetrators of rape are accorded stiffer penalty.

Adeboye said during a live programme on DOVE TV, monitored in Ibadan on Sunday, that the issue of rape had become rampant in the society. He described rape as bad and unbiblical that it could leave a permanent scare on the victim for the rest of her life.

According to him, there is no pain that can be compared to the pain on the parents whose daughter had been raped.
“Myself and prayer warriors will not rest in prayers until the perpetrators of this evil are brought to justice, not only in Nigeria but all over the world. Everyone who has ever committed rape, particularly in Nigeria and the world, the all-knowing God will fish them.

From Jihad of the Penis to Rape in the Church-Chibok, Dapchi, RCCG

Written by Obinna Akukwe

Nigerian wickedness have graduated from a Jihad of the penis, the type waged in Chibok and Dapchi, to rape in the church, the type witnessed in Redeemed Christian Church God, RCCG Benin.

To refresh unsavory news, Miss Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, a 22 year old microbiology student of University of Benin, and chorister with RCCG, Ikpoba Hill, Province of Benin, was raped and murdered inside the same church she and her family had put in sixteen years of faithful service to God.
From Jihad of the P*nis to Rape in the Church-Chibok, Dapchi, RCCG

Christianity is endangered in Nigeria. It was endangered by both the rampaging Jihadists and the rapacious church members. There is both internal and external pull at the fabrics of the church and the leaders are yet to realize that hard times have come again.

The outrage over the murder of Uwa in RCCG had not died down when an anointed Bishop was apprehended by the police for raping a 19 year old girl in his church, Victory Revival Fasting & Prayer Ministry, Warri. The anointed Bishop by name Elijah Orhonigbe is now in police net (pending when he pays his way out).

Covid-19 Rape, Murder in RCCG Church: Disgrace to Christendom

Written by Obinna Akukwe

Rape and murder occurred in RCCG church amidst coronavirus pandemic and a great disgrace has been brought to Christendom, yet church leaders have not read the handwriting on the wall. Since the history of Nigeria’s amalgamation in 1914, for the first time a virgin girl was tied, gagged, blindfolded, raped, filmed and murdered in a church in Nigeria.-and everything is wrong with it.

People have been killed in churches. In 2011, Jihadist Christmas bomber attacked St Theresa’s Catholic Church, Madalah, Niger State and killed over fifty worshipers. Churches have been bombed in Nigeria. In 2017, South African based drug barons carried their killing spree into St Philips Catholic Church,Ozubulu, Anambra State and in the process thirteen worshippers were shot dead , even though propagandists blamed herdsmen. .Pastor Adeboye Reacts To Alleged Rαpe, Murder Of UNIBEN Student ...

These are different aspects of desecration of worship places in Nigeria during conflicts, but never had someone been raped and killed in a church during peacetime. This is the initial results of the abdication of the spiritual edge of the church in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Murder, Rape in RCCG Church Amidst Covid-19 Lockdown-Matters Arising

Written by Obinna Akukwe

Its very unfortunate that a virgin student, faithful church worker, Vera Uwaila who converted his father from paganism to Christianity was raped and killed in the House of God in RCCG Benin.

Gov Abiodun Hits Bishop Oyedepo : Locks down Sunday and Saturday over Covid-19

Written by Obinna Akukwe

May 2020

Governor Abiodun of Ogun State have hit hard at Bishop Oyedepo with the new Covid-19 directives which locked down Saturdays and Sundays only. According to the new directive from the governor “Relaxation windows will now be observed on all five working days (Monday to Friday), but the FG-directed curfew from 8 p.m. (night) to 6 a.m. (morning) remains in place on these days. Total lockdown will be maintained on Saturdays and Sundays”.Gov Abiodun Hits Bishop Oyedepo : Locks down Sunday and Saturday ...

Governor Abiodun’s actions have been seen as muscle flexing with Bishop Oyedepo whose church headquarters, Faith Tabernacle, is at Ota in Ogun State. The church complex has a seating capacity of 50,000 and overflow capacity of over one million during Shiloh programmes. The church’s weekly attendance before the pandemic is close to five hundred thousand.

Bishop Oyedepo from the onset had condemned the closure of churches in the wake of the pandemics. When the government relaxed the markets, Bishop Oyedepo said that “For people to be allowed to be in the market for six hours and can’t be in church for two hours, it’s an upside down way of looking at things. There is more hope for a poor and wise child than an old foolish king who would no longer be admonished (Ecclesiastes 4:13),”

Pastor Series 7: David Oyedepo-Apostle of Faith and Prosperity

Written Obinna Akukwe

David Oyedepo, Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel, is unarguably the reigning Apostle of Faith and Prosperity. Bishop Oyedepo, since the inception of Living Faith Church in 1983, has displayed unusual exploits of faith unrivaled since the Pentecostal Revival associated with Azusa Street Revival of 1914.

David Oyedepo is married to Faith Oyedepo, herself a product of faith. As a spinster, she was a prayer leader in her local church and from what one of her mentors, Pastor Mike Oye, told us, Faith would lead other young girls to extra prayers in the church after services have closed in the Methodist Church. Therefore, the explosive faith associated with the Oyedepo’s is not accidental; it is results of seed sown in times past.Oyedepo's Pastor, Allegedly, Stole $90,000, N4.5 Million – The ...
