Igbo Mandate Congress Rejects Ohanaeze Ndigbo Presidential Election

 

The Igbo Mandate Congress (IMC) has rejected the outcome of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo presidential election held recently in Enugu, alleging that southeast governors manipulated the process that led to the emergence of Senator John Azuta Mbata as the new President-General of the pan-Igbo socio-cultural organization.

In a press statement issued by its Director-General, Rev. Obinna Akukwe, the IMC accused the governors of conspiring to keep the election venue a secret and installing a preferred candidate.

The statement read:

“The venue of the election was kept top secret until Friday morning when delegates were informed it would hold at the Old Governor’s Lodge, Enugu.

At the venue, police and DSS officials were given delegate lists approved by the governors, barring anyone not on the lists from entering.”

The group alleged that the governors influenced the delegate lists to ensure that only their loyalists participated in the election.

South East Governors Have Hijacked the Ohanaeze Elections of January 10^th and have imposed choice candidates on the delegates.

 

The venue of the election was kept top secret till Friday morning when delegates were informed that it would hold at Old Governors Lodge, Enugu.

 

At the old governor’s lodge, team of police and DSS officials were given lists of delegates for the polls and given orders not to allow anyone inside the venue. The lists were as compiled and approved by the respective governors.

 

From Abia to Anambra, Enugu, Imo, the governors asked their cronies to select loyal persons to represent the state at the elections. The delegates list was kept secret till Friday morning, to void other candidates, include former Inspector General of Police, Mike Okiro, from gaining access to them.

 

The delegates elected by the governors and their cronies were told to assemble at the Ohanaeze Ndigbo National Headquarters to collect both their accreditation tags and their payment money for loyalty.

A frontline activist and Director General of Igbo Mandate Congress, Rev Obinna Akukwe, has called for the postponement of the Ohanaeze election scheduled for Friday, January 10, at the national headquarter of the organisation, No 7 Park Avenue, Enugu.

 

Rev. Akukwe advocated that the postponement will enable a peace truce to be reached among the four aspirants for the post of President General namely; Chief Mike Okiro, Dim Uche Okwukwu, Chief Jackson Omenazu, Chief Fyneface Amaechi to avoid what he described as ‘cataclysmic implosion’.

He welcomed the zoning of the next President General position to Rivers state, stating that it is line with the Ohanaeze Ndigbo constitution. He, however, cautioned against monetization of the election.

Igbo Mandate Congress IMC , the socio cultural group reputed for its first hand Intelligence Reports throughout Nigetia,do hereby support the Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, for declaring war on some evil Native Doctors and Ezenwanyi in the State.

 

The Governor Stated this during the 2024 Public Service Lecture in Awka. Soludo had few days earlier inaugurated security outfit structure codenamed ' Operation Udo Ga Achi' in Anambra State'

Amongst other measures, the governor reiterated that many native doctors are helping criminal elements in the State by preparing charms for them.

 

The Governor observed that hard drugs and some diabolic native doctors in the state are part of the forces aiding and fueling the evil and criminality in the state. The native doctors, he noted, encourage and deceive the hoodlums by preparing different kinds of charms and protectives for them for their operation. He also revealed that even kidnap victims are being kept in the shrines of some of the native doctors, showing that they work hand-in-hand with those criminal elements, who use their shrines as hideouts.

The Director General of Igbo Mandate Congress IMC, Rev Obinna Akukwe have condemned the various factions and chieftains of IPOB who have continuously rejoiced and gloated over the demise of Ohanaeze Leader, CXhief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu., describing it as act of irresponsibility.

Speaking in Abuja on Monday during the meeting of Igbo MNADTE congress Directors from the 19 Northern States and FCT, Rev Akukwe said that those sending messages on whatsapp, facebook, twitter and other media platforms claiming that the ‘Spirit of Nnamdi Kanu and Biafra killed Chief Iwuanyanwu’ as irresponsible ignoramus, whether from the family, friends, Ohanaeze, IPOB or any quarter the rumors are originating.

He said that Iwuanyanwu was allegedly poisoned after visiting Nnamdi KANU in DSS Dungeon because he set up to expose persons, internal and external behind the crisis in Igboland, as revealed to him by Nnamdi Kanu.

IPOB Sit at Home Insecurity: Cubana Chief Priest was Right

I  was recently told by an Indigenous Peoples of  Biafra , IPOB Chieftain that Mr Paschal Chibuike, also known as Cubana Chief Priest  was  callous for claiming that he relocated the headquarters of his business from Owerri to Lagos due to insecurity caused by IPOB and their Sit-at Home, and my response was frank, Cubana Chief Priest was right.

After the claims made by the Cubana Chief Priest THAT INSECURITY MADE HIM RELOCATE HIS BUSINESS HEADQUARTES TO Lagos,  the leadership of IPOB claimed that Governor Hope Uzodimma and all agents of darkness are using him against Ndigbo. The IPOB Chieftains all over the globe condemned him as an agent of darkness, a traitor to the Igbo cause and made mockery of his fortune in the entertainment business, despite them enjoying the same entertainment hotspots. I dare say again that Cubana Chief Priest was Right in relocating his entertainment business out of the South East for reasons open to logical minds.

The IPOB Sit at Home has crippled businesses in the South East, since it was forcefully enforced for every Monday, since 2021. Many foreign investors plying their trade in the South East have quietly relocated to the South West and South South. Many Indigenous business owners, especially the security conscious ones,  have relocated out of the South East.

Simon Ekpa, the Prime Minister of a faction of Biafra, in the wake of the murder of some kidnapers during gun duel at Ladipo market area, have termed the Nigerian Government terrorist for killing nine kidnappers who have been terrorizing the Igbo markets and predominant Igbo communities in Ladipo and Lagos in general.

The Nigerian police under a Yoruba Inspector General, Egbetokun, former Aide-de Camp to Bola Tinubu, equally Yoruba, who became President of Nigeria in May 2023, sent his men of Special Squad to neutralize eleven persons , mostly Biafrans, Biafra lovers and funders of Biafran cause , who happened also to be kidnapping Biafrans to the tune of billions of naira.

These dare devil kidnappers have been known to arrest, keep people in detention for months till they pay the stipulated ransome.

Iwuanyanwu falls sick after visiting Nnamdi Kanu at DSS headquarters- Igbo Mandate Congress Raises Alarm

 

The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu had fallen sick two days after visiting leader of Indigenous Peoples f Biafra IPOB , Nnamdi Kanu in DSS detention center. The meeting at DSS headquarters took place on the 30^th of May, while the Ohanaeze leader has been bedridden two days after till June 12^th.

 

The Director General of Igbo Mandate Congress IMC Rev Obinna Akukwe disclosed this on Thursday in Abuja during a closed door meeting with leaders of the group.

 

He said that the sudden illness of Chief Iwuanyanwu when efforts are ongoing with the Special Task Force for the Release of Nnamdi Kanu, to move the political solution to the next level, sparks of hidden agenda. 

 

Rev Akukwe said that it is suspicious that Ndigbo lost four Ohanaeze leaders in two years, all diagnosed of same illness.

 

According to Akukwe, Igbos lost President Generals of Ohanaeze Ndigbo  Dr Joe Irukwu, Prof Ben Nwabueze , Dr Dozie Ikedife, Col Joe Achuzia, Professor George Obiozor, Chief Mbazulike Amechi  and Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife within the space of two years.

….Special Task Force on Release of Nnamdi Kanu to Meet over Aba Invasion

 

Igbo Mandate Congress IMC have clarified to select clerics in Abuja that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu told Ohanaeze leaders who visited him in DSS headquarters that Simon Ekpa is not an IPOB member.

 

The Director General of Igbo Mandate Congress , Rev Obinna Akukwe stated it while briefing sections of the clergy in Abuja on Friday, concerned over the security situation in Nigeria, killing of soldiers by  IPOB members  , attendant  invasion of Aba by enraged soldiers and the outcome of Ohanaeze leaders visit to Nnamdi Kanu.

 

Rev Akukwe told the Igbo clergy that during the visit of the Igbo leaders on the 30th of May, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu told Iwuanyanwu pointedly that he does not know Simon Ekpa well.

 

Mazi Kanu said that "Simon Ekpa is not an IPOB member.  I do not know him well. He is a new entrant into the struggle."

 

Iwuanyanwu, Ohanaeze, Special Task Force to Visit Nnamdi Kanu in DSS Detention Tomorrow.

 

The Special Task Force for the Release of Maxi Nnamdi Kanu has been informed by sources within the DSS that barring any last minute change of plan, the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuamyanwu will be visiting the detained leader of Indigenous Peoples of Biafra IPOB in Abuja on Thursday.

 

Scheduled to accompany Chief Iwuanyanwu on the visit on are members of the Special Task Force for the Release of Nnamdi Kanu.

 

Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu will among ohers ascertain the state of health of Nnamdi Kanu, welfare in captivity, security situation in Igboland, activities of legal team and the extent of political solution.

 

The Special Task Force that will accompany him include Barrister Cappeo Emejulu Okpalaukwu, Rev Obinna Akukwe,  Igwe Uche Egenti, Eze Ibe Nwosu, Prince Emmanuel Kanu  among others available in Abuja at the moment.
