Police Detain Sheikh Adams, Igbo Presidency Agitators in Abuja-PANPIEC, Ohanaeze Spits Fire

Igbo Presidency agitators have been detained at the Special Anti-Robbery Squad SARS Office in Abuja for four nights. The trio arrested includes SHEIKH Mohammed Adams, Barrister Emejulu Okpalaukwu and Mr Chris Okigbo,

Sheikh Mohamed Adams and Barrister Emejulu Okpalaukwu were preparing to go to Eagle Square venue of the APC Convention to canvass for Igbo presidency before they were arrested, The trio were first detained at a military facility, and later transferred to APO Legislative Quarters Police Station. They were taken the following day to the FCT Commissioner of Police and later transferred to SARS detention centre.

Briefing Rev Obinna Akukwe Director, Christian Religious Wing Pan Nigerian President of Igbo Extraction Coalition PANPIEC, the General Coordinator of Eastern Youth Forum EYF, Mr Dominic Onyekwelu said that all efforts to release them have proved abortive. Mr Onyekwelu said that Ohanaeze Ndigbo have detailed an experienced human rights lawyer,t o effect their releae but there are unnecessary bottlenecks.

Barrister George Ibekwe , seasoned human rights rights was detailed by Ohanaeze Ndigbo to follow up the matter and report back to them. He has been making frantic efforts to secure their release.

PANPIEC learnt that Sheihk Mohammed Adams and Barrister Emejulu Okpalaukwu were alleged to have written a letter to President Buhari seeking support or Igbo Presidency, the contents of which the military and police authorities deemed offensive.

Sheikh Mohammed Adams, influential Islamic Cleric has been at the forefront of campaign for President of Igbo extraction. He has written letters to Buhari, Iyorchia Ayu, PDP, APC to zone the presidency to the South East. Sheikh Adams was reportedly teargased, manhandled and his dress torn by irate Atiku boys because he entered the PDP convention ground at the to campaign and convince delegates to vote for Igbo candidate. Sheikh Adams have vowed to carry the same campaign to Eagle Square venue of APC Convention before he was arrested in the process..

Barrister Emejulu Okpalaukwu, foremost Ohanaeze Youth leader, former Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze and General Coordinator of Igbo -Ohanaeze Integrity Groups was also arrested alongside Sheikh Adams. Opalaukwu was visible with hi team, including activists from the north, talking to eleates on the eve of the electin, from ne assembly point to the other. His attempt to continue the campaign into Eagles Square was effectively checkmated by the arrest.

Sheikh Mohammed Adams to Buhari -‘Make Igbo President Now’

An influential Abuja based Islamic Cleric, Sheikh Mohammed Adams have asked President Muhammadu Buhari to make an Igbo his choice of consensus candidate. Speaking in Abuja on Sunday during a meeting of leaders of National Volunteers Peace Mission and Igbo Mandate Congress IMC, Sheikh Adams said that only an Igbo will douse the tension in the country.

Sheikh Adams said that ‘’ I believe in Igbo Presidency, and I have written letters to the leadership of both PDP and APC asking them to support Igbo presidency. Though many persons, including highly placed persons have asked called me to express displeasure, I will continue my campaign because it is based on conviction’’ He has written letters to President Buhari explaining why Igbo should be made president, copies of which was obtained by the leadership of Igbo Mandate Congress

Continuing Sheikh Adams said that ‘’last week, I carried the campaign of Igbo Presidency  to the PDP Primary Venue at the Aerodrome Abuja, some fans of Atiku Abubakar tear gassed, manhandled and tore my dresses. They even smashed my golden wrist watch, all because I wanted to give a letter to the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, asking that Igbo be allowed to have a shot at the presidency. Though they acknowledged my letters, this is the copy of the acknowledgement, they still went ahead to rough handle me’’

 

In his response , a cleric and   Ohanaeze chieftain and Director General  of  Igbo Mandate Congress IMC, Rev Obinna Akukwe described the manhandling of Sheikh Mohammed Adams by Atiku boys during PDP Primaries as nauseating. While inspecting the torn dresses, smashed wristwatches and bruised face of Sheikh Adams.

Groups Canvass Support for Igbo Presidency ahead of APC Primaries

Numerous Igbo Groups converged in Abuja on Sunday to pile pressures on the All Progressive Congress APC to pick an Igbo from the South East as Presidential Candidate.

The groups held strategic meeting at Asokoro and resolved to use all their contacts to persuade President Buhari to act in Igbo Interest.

In a communique reached at the end of the meetings, the groups described the decision of President Buhari to zone presidency to the South as laudable. They enjoined him to microzone it to the South East.

The groups include  Igbo Ohanaeze  Integrity Groups lOIG led by Barrister Emejulu Okpalaukwu, former Ohanaeze Publicity Secretary, Eastern Youth Forum EYF, led by Mr Dominic Onyekwelu, APC Non-Indigenes Forum led by Chief Comrade Gabriel Nwobodo, Ndigbo of Nigeria led by Godwin Onyekachi, Nigerian Youth in Politics Founded by Duke Omeye, New Foundation for National Understanding headed by Mr Chris Okigbo, Ofuma Women Organization of Nigeria led by Prophetess Ifeyinwa Emeleife.

Owo Church terrorists attack targeted at Buhari's APC Consensus

The terrorists attack at St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, where over fifty persons lost their lives is an extension of the Kaduna train terrorists attacks. Terrorists were imported to strike and embarrass Buhari.

I have written severally and warned the APC leadership to jettison the consensus option of selecting a presidential candidate because the terrorists will strike at soft targets and critical infrastructure and embarrass the President .

I also stated categorically that our intelligence sources hinted that the train terrorists will not release the captives until after the outcome of the primaries.

President Buhari have called APC leaders and governors twice in the past seven days and insisted at the consensus option and the politicians have swung into action to embarrass him as I warned.

Rev Obinna Akukwe is authoritatively confirming again that Ohanaeze Ndigbo cannot take a position on the five leading Igbo sons seeking presidential ticket in APC, viz Amechi, Onu, Okorocha, Umahi and Nwajiuba for obvious reasons.

The Prof Obiozor led Ohanaeze has been emasculated by Gov Hope Uzodimna who wants a Ahmed Lawan Presidency. Any press release to the contrary is just a smokescreen. All attempts by Igbo 1, Ezeibe Nwosu to convey stakeholders meeting yesterday failed because the house is too divided to stand.

The Chief Ibe led Ohanaeze sympathetic to Rocha's Okorocha cannot convey stakeholders meeting. They are not on ground in Abuja.

The Barrister Onyeacholam CAC registered Ohanaeze sympathetic to Ogbonnaya Onu, also lacks the clout in Abuja to convey stakeholders. They are dismissed as minions.

The Bishop's Branch of Ohanaeze are too far away in the South East and from reality to understand the intrigues going on.

A section of Ohanaeze Elders are insisting on dragging Ndigbo to follow Peter Obi , while others are rooting for Onu.

Buhari Consensus: Igbo APC divided over Amechi, Onu, Lawan, Umahi -

Another group of Igbo Stakeholders are pressurizing Buhari to give it to Ahmed Lawan , arguing that with broken Igbo Support Base, nobody from the South can challenge Atiku.

 

Rev Obinna Akukwe is hereby authoritatively informing Igbo elders that the activities of Igbo Politician in Abuja ahead of Buhari’s consensus choice is capable of truncating Igbo Presidency.

 

We have made moves to convey an all inclusive Igbo Stakeholders Meeting to finetune, finalize and present a common front to Buhari ahead of his planned announcement, the elders dodged the meetings.

 

The same manner those in PDP dodged strategic meetings, failed to institute a situation room, failed to do everything necessary, until Igbos were disgraced at PDP Primaries.

Igbo's Hated Buhari, Now Begs him for Presidency

Majority of Igbo who over time  displayed extreme hatred for Muhammadu Buhari,  are now begging, salivating, groveling and threatening him to support Igbo for Presidency. This hatred dates back to 2007. Since then marketing Buhari to the average Igboman is a difficult exercise, including to my colleagues in the clergy, activism, media or the masses.

 

Rev Obinna Akukwe is saying ' good morning to Ndigbo' .Today all the fabled friends of Ndigbo  in PDP, the party they followed for sixteen years,  have abandoned them.

 

In the upcoming PDP primaries, Peter Obi, Igbo's brightest chance will come a distant fourth or fifth. The PDP they supported since 1999 have betrayed them. They are set to give ticket to Atiku. Now Igbo are begging Buhari to use consensus magic to give them presidency.

 

The Goodluck Jonathan, whom they jettisoned zoning to support in 2011 and 2015, is negotiating for a ticket in APC.

 

Two foremost government critics who instigated so much hatred against the North,Muslims, Fulani, Hausa, Buhari and APC, in the persons of Femi Fani Faypde and Reno Omokri, are now working for Buhari, Atiku, North, Fulani', Hausa, and APC.

Igbo Mandate Congress IMC wants to bring to the attention of all Biafran protesters and agitators this day November 28^th, 2015 that the greatest genocide ever under the guise of stopping separatist MASSOB agitators was under the tenure of Peter Obi, as Governor of Anambra State, Achike Udenwa as Governor of Imo State and Olusegun Obasanjo as President of Nigeria.

Biafran agitators should hold these three men responsible for killing thousands of innocent civilians in the guise of seeking for members of Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB). Nigerian soldiers numbering over 200 were invited into Anambra State in June 2006 by Governor Peter Obi and in the process murdered estimated 5000 innocent Igbos in the guise of rooting out MASSOB agitators. This was done with the ever gleeful support of ex-president Obasanjo in the infamous operation ‘Shoot-at Sight Order’

During these periods that spanned till early 2009, Nigerian soldiers were on rampage at Onitsha, Nnewi, Oba, Ihiala and environs shooting, killing, and maiming anything that has a suspicion of being MASSOB. As the shootings were going on, real MASSOB members escaped into various dens while stranded travelers, unsuspecting trader and residents were branded MASSOB and shot.

By the time the exercise was over, estimated 5000 people were killed and the affected families took the remains of their relatives and buried quietly to avoid being killed too by the rampaging soldiers. All these wickedness was at the behest of an APGA Governor claiming to be a follower of ex Biafran leader Odumegwu Ojukwu

Association of Igbo Youths(AIYO) have alleged that leader of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazurike and his cohorts murdered eighteen of their members for failing to return back to MASOB. They alleged that the eighteen murdered youths are among the thousands who resigned from MASSOB when it was obvious that Uwazurike have turned the separatist outfit into money spinning Business Empire. They asked MASSOB to stop all violent activities in Anambra State or face the music.

This was contained in a petition addressed to the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Zone 9, Umuahia, submitted on the 1st of November, 2013. The group alleged in their petition signed by their National Coordinator, Comrade Chukwuemeka James Ugah and Anambra State Coordinator, Mr Odinikpo Ananwude that;

Kaduna Train Terrorists Waiting for APC Presidential Consensus Primaries

The  Train terrorists who kidnapped Kaduna bound passengers, the night President Buhari used consensus to elect a National Chairman for the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC,  is waiting for  him to declare his consensus Presidential Candidate, before they determine the fate of the captives in their enclave.

I have written a day after the heinous attack on innocent passengers that APC politicians are responsible for the terrorist attacks, and the only condition for them to release the captives is for Buhari to open the political space for free and fair primaries.

I warned that the plot to hoist some persons, specifically Amechi and Emefiele, is viewed with disapproval by these politically sponsored terrorists.

Buhari’s government has tried to negotiate with the terrorists, but all the conditions are delay tactics. The target is the primaries.

In the first piece titled ‘I stated that aggrieved politicians under the ruling APC are responsible for the attacks as a means of reacting to the consensus.

In the second piece titled I warned that the election or selection process should become free and fair in order not to allow for terrorist embarrassment on the nation. I also stated that the terrorists will not release the passengers. It’s almost sixty days, and they have no plan to release them.

In the third piece titled. I hinted that the assurance of President Buhari that the process will be by primaries has gladdened the herats of the terrorists, and they are treating their captives better.

Therefore, Rev Obinna Akukwe counsels President Muhammadu Buhari to handle his consensus plot carefully, with fairness and equity in mind. Anything less than that will be dangerous to the nation. Our intelligence reports show terrible pot to destabilize his last days in office, and render his consensus choice unelectable. Those who ignore the warnings of Rev  Obinna Akukwe has tales to tell, no matter how highly placed. The records are there.
