Igbo Mandate Congress Congratulates New Chief Imam of Owerri, Suleiman Njoku, asks him to stop Fulani-Farmers Crisis

Igbo Mandate Congress do hereby congratulates, Barrister Suleiman Njoku on his elevation as the new Chief Imam of Owerri and Grand Khadi Imo State following the death of his predecessor Alhaji Dauda Anozie Onyeagocha who passed away on the early hours of November 12th, 2019.

Igbo Mandate Congress attested that the late Chief Imam of Owerri Alhaji Dauda Alozie Onyeagocha from Amawom, Owerri area was a man of peace.  The ousted Governor of Imo State Ndubuisi Ihedioha had attested and described him as a detribalized Nigerian, a bridge-builder, who contributed immensely to the peaceful co-existence of adherents of Islam and Christianity in the state in his condolence message.

Igbo Mandate Congress noted that the new Chief Imam, a native of Umuediabali Ihitteafoukwu, in Ahaizu Mbaise LGA was selected by Imo Muslims without rancor. Igbo Mandate Congress hopes the Chief Chief Imam of Imo State will exhibit the fearlessness which the ousted Governor Ihedioha and Justice Mary Odili all from Mbaise division, had brought to public service as Speaker of NASS and Supreme Court Jurist respectively.

No Plan to Attack any Community in Anambra – Miyetti Allah accuses Igbo Mandate Congress of Partisanship

*Igbo Mandate Congress statement capable of war
*criminals found amongst herders

By Jude Atupulazi

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders' Association, MACBAN, Southeast Zone, have debunked a report that the group is plotting a retaliatory attack on Ifite Ogwari Community following a skirmish that claimed the lives of four herders.

A group, Igbo Mandate Congress, had issued a statement which it copied to the Ohaneze Ndigbo, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and Christian Association of Nigeria; as well as the diplomatic community, alleging that Miyetti Allah was planning a retaliatory attack in Ifite-Ogwari over the killing of some of its members.Image result for miyetti allah

The publication titled, “Fulani vs Anambrarian: Police Arrest Ifite-Ogwari Elders as Igbo Mandate Congress Seeks Justice”, had portrayed the Fulanis as a destructive and murderous group, causing harm to the people of Ifite-Ogwari and their farms. It accused Fulanis of responsibility, for about two weeks running, for the detention of some Ifite-Ogwari leaders by the Nigeria Police, insisting that such detention was consequent upon Miyetti Allah's insistence.

Fulani to attack Ifite-Ogwari, Anaku -Igbo Mandate Congress alerts CAN, PFN, Ohanaeze

Igbomandatecongress press release

Igbo Mandate Congress have received intelligence reports from credible sources within Miyetti Alah that some Fulani herdsmen will attack Ifite-Owari and Anaku communities in Anambra State within the next three months in retaliation for the alleged murder of some herdsmen.

Two leaders of Miyetti Allah, who pleaded anonymity, told the Director General of Igbo Mandate Congress Reverend Obinna Akukwe in Awka over the weekend that the families of the four middle-aged men allegedly killed are seeking for revenge. They claimed that younger elements within Miyetti Allah are pushing for revenge. They gave the name of the youth leader seeking for bloody revenge to the leaders of Igbo Mandate Congress and asked them to initiate peaceful settlement before the executioner groups are called in from Bauchi.Image result for fulani attacks

They claimed that Anaku people have been beating up herdsmen, denying them water and safe passage and instigating nearby communities against them.. The aggrieved herdsmen believed that even Aguleri, Governor Obiano’s hometown gave them some land and wondered what is so special with Ifite-Ogwari and Anaku that they will not have peace.

Avoid Bloodshed in Afaraukwu; Igbo Mandate Congress Warns IPOB and Buratai

It has come to the notice of Igbo Mandate Congress by agents within the security agencies, particularly the army and police and also from IPOB that the burial of Nnamdi Kanu’s parents slated  for February 14th will be turned to a theater of war.

The Police had issued dangerous provocative statements and IPOB have replied provocatively. All these statements at the expense of sacrificing Igbo blood during a key burial event.

Nnamdi Kanu in his latest broadcast had threatened as stated below;

“If anything happens to any IPOB member on the 14th of February all your children will be killed. If they kill anybody in my father’s compound on the 14th of February, all the children of the Army commanders will be killed.

“All of you including Buratai, all your children will be killed. Every police commissioner, commanders, give me the addresses, I am giving you an order, get me their names. I will kill them if they kill anybody in my home town on the 14th of February, leave us alone, we are not armed.

“If you come to my parents’ funeral and shoot, we will kill all your children, if you like go and hide them in Saudi Arabia, we will find them and kill all your children. You will know what it means to buy a casket, your names will be wiped out. I will submit myself for arrest after we kill them.”Nnamdi Kanu cannot kill Buratai and all his commanders, he doesn't have the capacity to get all the children of these military commanders if they attack any IPOB member in Afaraukwu,as he claimed in recent broadcast, without the cooperation of certain elements within Biafra. These elements are never going to help him get at anybody because of abusive tendencies.

Igbo Mandate Congress wishes to forewarn those going to Afaraukwu for the burial of Kanu's parents to either behave themselves within the ambit of the law of Nigeria or prepare for total war against the Armed Forces fully kitted with their own weapons of mass destruction.

Enough blood has been shed over the nation already and it is always the innocent that are affected.
